Seattle University Office Remodel
The Admissions & Alumni Building is Seattle University’s campus entry building. Jim Cary designed the building in 2007, and in 2018 Cardinal Architecture designed a remodel of the office spaces when the University Admissions team moved to their new home in another Cardinal project. Cardinal designed new interior offices, new office furniture and shared work spaces that take advantage of the openness of the original building design. Interior skylights allow the new offices to share daylight from the roof monitors while maintaining the office privacy.
The move went very well and the UA team is enjoying our new space! Thank you for all the planning and steps it took to get us from there to here. The office looks GREAT and colleagues are already making good use of open space. The east side of the building is brilliant. We’ll be communicating less by email and having more productive work conversations. It’s exactly what we envisioned for a team environment.
