Staff Meal, an employee lunch spot for Sugar Mountain and neighboring businesses, is a simple restaurant located on the roof of an existing concrete storage building. Cardinal designed the structure to blend into its alley location, and to conjure traditional taco stands. Three stories up and set back from Westlake Avenue, the hole-in-the-wall offers both privacy and pocket views to South Lake Union. Reclaimed building materials and industrial fixtures complete the timeless effect.
