Historic Building Research
Cardinal Architecture specializes in historic building projects. We develop projects with thorough on-site research and observation. We use time-tested as well as innovative approaches to meet the building and occupants’ needs. We are also very familiar with the process of historic design review, and we lead project design teams through state and local design review. We have conducted surveys of historic properties, prepared historic building reports for the University of Washington, and restored Carnegie libraries, Washington State Capitol Campus structures, and historic residences.
