Aberdeen Timberland Library Remodel

The Aberdeen Timberland Library, part of the Timberland Regional Library System, is working with Cardinal Architecture to remodel their existing library building. Originally built in 1966 and renovated in 1999, the 2021 renovation will respond to Aberdeen’s needs and reflect changes in library service. The new design is shaped by community input, expertise in library design, and a desire for equity, diversity and inclusion as the library aims to serve all members of the city’s population. The renovation will include a larger children’s area, expanded public seating and computer areas, and a new entry addition that allows for after-hours access. Cardinal Architecture is excited to be part of the Aberdeen Timberland Library’s future.
